About Us

Eat. Drink. Dance. Ole!

Originally established as Café Sevilla, the venue has long been dedicated to celebrating the essence of Spanish culture, music, and cuisine in the heart of downtown Long Beach. Today, the space has been re-branded as Ole Tapas & Bar Long Beach, continuing the tradition of authentic Spanish ambiance within its tapas bar, restaurant, and nightlife experience.

The location first opened in 1987 under Spanish-born owners Rogelio and Janet Huidobro, who created the Sevilla concept to reflect the traditional atmosphere of Spain they loved so deeply. What began as an intimate tapas bar quickly became a local favorite, gaining popularity for its vibrant energy, Spanish-inspired cuisine, and lively entertainment. Now, as Ole Tapas & Bar Long Beach, the venue carries that legacy forward while introducing a refreshed identity and experience for a new generation of guests.
